ok i am wondering what my jetting and air screw setting should be on a 30mm mikuni carb ? its on a ported engine with a 12:1 piston, 30mm carb, and a bassani exhaust.

would anyone know about where to start with a main jet and adjustments ? it is running on 100 octain fuel because thats all that is around my area within a 30 mile radius. that brings me to aske another question as well. will my piston be ok running 100 ? or do i need better fuel. if i need better fuel .... is there anything i can add to the 100 to make it any better ? im kinda new to the whole 12:1 scene. any help would kick butt.

The jetting issue is hard to say. Just throw one in and start it up, run it for a minute, check the plug, and jett accordingly. Maybe a 200?
100 octane will run GREAT in your trike. You couldn't get any better really, it should be great, especially with your high comp. piston.
