i just put one in my 200x all u have to do is change the output shaft from the 200x to the xr 200 and u have a 6 speed instead of a 5 speed which is alot better i used to run the xr 200 motor in my 200x till the wrist pin ceased in the rod so i took the crank and output shaft out of my 200x and put it in the xr 200 bottom end i havent run it yet but it shifts through all the gears and the kicker works like a regular 200x now it kicks forward

Ok all u need out of the 200x bottom end to make the xr bottom end work is the kicker shaft both machines kick backwards on the inside of the engine. The 200x has a gear reduction on the outside to kick forward where the xr 200 doesnt it just kicks backwards. u need to split the cases on both and remove the shafts teh 200x has plines for the kicker gears in different places than the xr just remove both shafts with gears on them switch the gears from the xr 200 shaft on to the 200x shaft and install it in the bike the reason u need to switch the gear is because the 200x gear is wider be 1/4 inch and with the xr's 6 speed the wider gear wont work then just button up the caes and put the 200x clutch side cover along with gear reduction on the bottom end and u have a 6 speed that bolts right in and kicks forward
