I picked up a 110 the other night for 100 bucks. Needs rear seals on it, well at least one real bad. I got everything loose and the hub apart, but that tire is on the bead pretty good. Any tricks to getting this thing off? I'd rather not pay someone to do it if I dont have to.

Run over it with a car.

we have always done that by using a piece of wood, like a 2x6 or something and then use the weight of the car, or 1ton truck in my case, to bust it off the bead. some imes real tough ones would take a little persution with tire iron and a BFH on the egde of the bead. just make sure you remember to take the valve core out....doesnt work that way believe me.

well the ol rotten tire failed. ended up seperating. Now I need to find a tire. Even bought a inner tube for this tire so I could just reuse it. Bummer

now you may use a sawzall and pair of tin snips to take care of the tire the rest of the way off now.

Are you needing a tire for your 110??? Because in case your interested I have a few kicking around to unload.. you pay shipping 5 bucks a tire... I have a few with decent tread.. might need to be tubed though.

yeah I suck, only 3 :P. Man what a freaken drive. 470 mile round trip plus I was stuck in traffic for about a hour and a half. left at 12:30 got home at 10, but with 2 more atc110 :)
One is real nice, looks like she should start right up after I get some air in one tire and a quick clean of the gas tank. The other is missing a cover over the points and the cover for the pull starter and is in need of a pull starter and shift lever, but turns over good, and the guy said it ran great until he broke the cord. We'll see. Either way 2 of them for 280 bucks after gas n food isnt bad :)
I'm really hoping to be able to ride one tomorrow and get another one going.
I think they are both 1980's

yeah bvut the seller is charging retarded amounts for shipping on stuff that is tiny and doesnt weigh anything. I figure I have enough parts between 3 of them to at least make to good ones.
The only thing I really need to complete a third is a shift lever, rear wheel n tire, and points and pull starter cover.
