Has anybody here had any luck with painting plastic? I don't know if the fenders for an '86-'87 Tecate 3 are still avaiable from Kawasaki, so I'm wondering about painting some Maier fenders. At least that would make them look good. My only concern is that their plastic is of such poor quality that the paint will flake off, even with a flex agent added. What are your opinions?

I thought I saw something about that. I saw a few 500s out here at the sand hills that had shiny Maier plastic, but it looked painted. I checked their website, and it says nothing about it. I just wonder how good they can match Kawasaki green because the Suzuki stuff is too dark. Do you know if genuine Kawasaki fenders are still available?

goto recreationunlimited.com for you plastics. JL performace.com has them as well and the kawi green looks almost dead on
