there pretty easy you'll just need a bearing driver or punch they should come out with little trouble.

They are a piece of cake. All you need is a long drift to knock the old bearings out, and a socket with the same OD as the bearing to put the new bearings in. Everytime I have checked, all Honda trikes use the same front bearings and seals. (82 185s, 83&84 200x, 85 350x, and 86 250sx). Just take the front wheel off, take the spindle assembly out of the wheel (just to make it easier to handle), pry out the old seals, put the drift through the hole, knock out the old bearings, push in the new bearings (don't fortget to put the tube back in the middle), push in the new seals, and you are done.

do they use generic seals and bearings like are available at auto parts stores or are they dealer only?

I have some aftermarket bearings and seals.

The part number on the bearing is 6302-2RS. It is a 15x42x13mm. I got them from Parkers for $7.95 each.

The Seals I have are EMGO brand, P/N 19-90102. It is a 23x42x7mm. $2.95 at Parkers

The reason that the hole in the seal (23mm) is bigger than the hole in the bearing (15mm) is that the seal goes around the spacer on each side, and the bearing goes around the axle bolt.

Parkers is at 1-800-360-4062. You might get bearings at a bearing house, but I don't know where to get seals except at a MC shop.

are these like front wheel bearings on a car where there are bearings, a cage for the bearings, and a race that is pressed on?

No they are a double sealed roller bearing.

thanks guys, I did it this afternoon and didn't have much trouble. I did get the spacers mixed up and had to take it back apart, but that wasn't too hard.

What I did notice now is that the front wheel is sitting crooked in the forks. That explains why I was having to steer kinda funny. What do I do there...just loosen the tripleclamps and move it around?

It would be crooked it one fork tube had the axle trailing and the other fork tube had it out in front, if thats not the case, it might be a bent fork...

You have a bent tube . Loosen the clamp twist the tube , watch which way the tire moves. move it as far as you can . if it dont move tire much try the other tub. you shoulkd be able to line the tire up that way.
