1985 honda 200X Frame touch up paint? anyone know anything close?

Hey gang..


I dont wanna paint my frame right now.. but there are spots that need attention.. Anyone know if a brush paint?? I could use that would be close to the factory colour of the frame?? I just have a few spots that bug me and are starting to get the virus of rust.

I've used International Harvester Red tractor enamel paint before. Another close match is a "Sunset Red" ... can't remember the manufacturer... Rust-Oleum maybe???

Hmm I wonder if Massey Fergusson red tractor paint might work tooo.. now that I am thinking about it..
although it might be too dark?

sun set red by Rust-Oleum is what i use to match up with honda. its almost a direct match to honda's red.

Yep, Walmart Handles That Rust Olem (wrong spelling, sorry :shrug: )
I've actually seen it significly slow down rust, or completely stops rust on any steel part it is sprayed on. Great Stuff.

I am going to have a look for it today.... Just cant justify and tare down and frame paint there I just have a few spots and I love the colour!

Yeah no go..
I ended up getting a enamel.. and scanning the taillight bracket and they made the colour for me.
its sprayed and looks not too bad. I am good with it.

If anyone cares to check it out.. look on my build page check out the new coat lol :)
