ok, if anyone read my posts awhile back, i finally got my swingarm bolt out, and the swingarm off. Now, how do i get the bearings out from inside the swingarm? I tried knocking them out slightly. Any other ideas?
Propane torch might work...it works great for old fork seals.

just heat'em and beat'em?
I use a 1/2 inch wide chisel and cut the outer race case, try not to cut into the tube very much. then drive a screw driver or small chisel under the case. At a slite angel you can cut a line down the case . two times you should be through it.

please just read my restoration article in my sig. it is way to easy to do it this way!
That was a good way to do it on a R . You can't do that with a X.

well, i guess i am going to try to get it out today. The frame is just about done, and only needs another coat or 2 of clearcoat. All my new bearing and bushings should be getting here this next week, so it' time to start reassembling stuff. I dont have anything to heat the outside with, i dont think, so i might just be beating on it for a long time...any oter ideas? i sprayed lots of WD40 in there so maybe that will help...

take it to a machine shop with a press. $10 later you will be done.
