Because the curosity kills me. Its still fast, but whatever number i come up with i know i can still get it higher with the igntion, and new piston. leaves me room for improvement.

The Certificate of Origin and my NYS registration says either 27 or 28 HP.

Well i didnt get to run my X, it was going to be a bit too much work for how many people where in line to run. So no 3 wheelers on the dyno this time.
But for your info, The cr500 conversion, pulled 51.50. It was getting higher each run but i told them to quit runnin it, The carb had leaked a bit, and the subframe was hitting the brake roter casusing sparks.
The 450 got 44.42, pipe, intake, cam, 16:1, ported, igntion. The cam has alot to do with the low number there.
A year ago my shee pulled a 48.9 on the same dyno.

How does your 500 stack up against the other 500's around here?

Never raced any others. But i know it would run right with them. Yesterday i was riding and blew it up, ill have to tear it down and see what went wrong

Thats going to be at the crank, and on a brand new bike. Wonder what tranny, chain tires, and 20+ years of use, all that stuf robbs from it??

if they did test just the motor i doubt it was tested at the crank....more likely the dyno hooks up to the motor with a chain....just a guess
