225dx conversion

Looking to convert from shaft drive to 250 2 stoke chain drive. am i being stupid or can it be done?:shrug:

to me it would be stupid. I am not saying it can't be done. The question is WHY?
I would rather have a 4 stroke with shaft drive. Plus with the suspension you wouldn't gain anything. You would have to replace the swingarm. The new engine maynot line up for the chain to work???
Just too much work to ruin a decent 3-wheeler to me...THIS is MY OPINION!

Want to make it faster without breaking the bank?

Look in to upgrading the front and rear suspension.

Don't hack up a 225.

Whoops.... Glad you did not hear ab out my 225.. lol

I got half the frame with the rear end and axle sitting ont he shop the rest is gone.. and man it was mint.


But a pooched cylinder and bad picton.. made me part it out.
