I have a 12:1 wiseco piston. ---- now im not positive it could be a 10:5 or whatever. I think i rember hatc saying it was a 12:1 when i posted a pic of it. So any way. Its in a 200 motor. This bike has a mind of its own. Its a WHore to get started. Matter fact latly ive had to drag start it which isnt the best thing to do but would supreme gas have a higher octane? Would it burn cleaner? ive been looking for race gas but here all we have is regular plus and supreme. can u get the octane booster from the dollar store :yup: or is it expensive. I was hoping i could run supreme in it.

but my main question is since its a 12:1 would running regular gas in it be causing it to be hard to start. Tommrow im going to inspect the plugs and everything

btw this thing is so weird. its been down for a week due to my tube getting pinched by a crack in the tire. Well i cranked it up 2 days ago and it ran like crap. I mean it ran but it had sort of a power loss. Well today i went outside and cranked it up and damn. I was in 3rd gear and i could bring the front wheel up all the way up my drive way. Wtf maybe it was becouse it had to sit through 2 huricanes in the middle of my yard :lala:

1. theres no such thing as "supreme gas"...youre thinking of Super Premium.

2. You can run the highest pump gas & some octane booster, measured correctly and youll be fine.

Elephant I have been messing with this problem for awhile now. Running a 12:1 and What gas to use. If you have some place to get aviation fuel it works great. With that high compression u need a high octane fuel. Aviation fuel is never below 100. You would need to jet accordingly since AV Gas is a lean burning fuel. I have tried octane booster, its crap, I am running the stock carb with a 142 main jet and a 40 secondary jet. Maybe this will help
