Welp, riding season is here and it is time to get the trike ready. Problem is, my 86 350x has a bum front tire afraid.. Where is the best place to get new tires for my machine? And is there any trick to taking off the front tire? After just looking at it I would assume that you take the bracket off of the right fork (the one with 4 bolts holding it on) and perhaps the axle from the right? Just downloaded Dammit's manual so I'll be reading through that as soon as I can get a chance. If this info is in there sorry just ignore this then haha..

Also, the back shock has a lot of ride in it when just sitting still even at the hardest setting. Are these shocks rechargeable? I talked to a guy at the local ATV shop and he said to expect only about $40 to recharge them if they are rechargeable.

Thank you for your time.

Welcome!!! To answer your questions... Yes and Yes!

That's how the front end comes apart. Once you pull the axle out, the front hub/rim will fall straight down. If the front bearing races are seazed to your axle, you may have to undo the front brake calipar as well and kind of twist it down. I suggest while you have it apart to check those bearings and seals out. Never sieze/grease up things good when putting back together.

For tires, I perfer the stock ones... Ohtsu's are going discontinued however Dunlop makes a copycat tread. You will have to get the 23" as the 23½" are discontinued. In all practicality, they are the same height when you have an OEM original and the 23" replacement side by side. I've checked because I run speedo's on my trikes...

The shock is rechargeable. The resevoir is on the left side of the trike under the rear fender. Though they will probably have to replace seals in it, so take the shock off and take to the dealer.
