Ok i've been reading alot of BS and want to know the truth!
I know about Answer's: Roost Boost's ... roost booster and it's 50/50
Hi Point makes a Motoplat Ignition Module ... i have no idea what that is
And ricky stator makes a 200 watt output stator (and others maybe?)
But i want to know what you guys think about all this, or maybe all this is on different pages of different books.
Help me out

Roost boost in my opinion doesn't make any noticeable difference. The motoplats ignition is a common mod for the trx 250R's and I would say a great choice for the trike too I belive it allows the bike to rev higher and provide beter throttle response. That would great in conjunction with a lighter flywheel. I may be wrong but I thought the higher output stators were mainly for brighter lights. Electrical is not a strong suit of mine though so somebody correct me if I'm wrong here.

I think you're in the right forum. another popular electrical mod is to put in a recent cr 250 ignition. You will not have lights with this set up but it's supposed to make a big difference. There is more info about this on www.esr250.com. I've wanted to do this mod for a while but kinda pricey.

Dynatek is a good option.
You can change your ignition curve withone as rpm's change, All the ones ive used have worked flawless.
Pvl, and motoplat from what i see are praticaly the same thing The pvl was designed off of a motoplat.
and the cr250 are really your only options.
Maby just a lightened flywheel and adjusteable timing plate, that would probably set you up perty good.

Go the same route... get ahold or Ricky Stator.... I'm not sure if there's a way to upgrade it from the XL200 motor??? or maybe from the 350X?? Though I believe the 350X is an odd duck, where as most of the other Honda lighting coils for ATC are similar, atleast from looking in Dennis Kirk. Why don't you start a separate thread on it???

MSD makes a good ignition for the 250r. it has no rev limiter, allows you to ajust your timing, and you can still run a headlight, and of course a lot better spark than a stock ignition. This ignition made a huge differance on my R . Its a must have if running alcohol or any built engine if you still want to keep your headlight.
