Hey i was out riding yesterday and hit a huge hole in the water i was riding in and the three wheeler rolled and i got water into the rear differntial. it is draining right now. I am wondering what the best most effective way is to get all of the water out of there?

Flip it to the side of the drain plug to get as much out as possible. Then spray inside the diff with tons of WD-40 to help disapate the water, then fill back with oil. Run it for awhile to get it nice and hot and drain again. This should take care of the water nicely.

Scott, do you think having some diesel in there could get the water/muck outa there?

i think trans fluid is pretty good at bonding with all the water to get it outta there.

If the vent tube hose is on you must be getting it from the rubber boot at the engine. it runs down the tube to the bad drive shaft seal and into the diff.

check boot for holes and tighten the clamps

Well im pretty sure it came in the vent hose. because it was rolled over in the water.. i took it all apart today because when i would give it gas it would "miss" and kind of sputter. so i took it all apart and there was water all over so i got it cleaned up nice and it runs great! the airbox had about an inch and a half of standing water in it. but i am still working on getting the rear diff cleaned because its still coming out creamy.
