ok guys...i took the auto-x out for the very first time since its bin redone. well it turns out i did more work on it than riding it. it lacks allot of power on the low end but once iget the throttle past 1/4-1/2 its fine and starts to pick up. its almost like its loading up (too big of pilot jet ?) below is a link to a vid of it sucking ass. the 2nd vid is after me messing with the mixture screw a bit. but still is far from rite. i was thinking it because my 14 tooth front sprocket but then again my other motor turns it just fine. that motor ran a stock 200x carb. the motor was bored 3mm and 10.25:1 with a cam, and mid port job . this motor has a port job, cam, 12:1, lighten flywheel, and bigger carb. it still cant get out of its own danm way. thats why im thinking carb issues all the way. let me know what you guys think.

i think carb, but why ya runnin that sprock?? i dont see how ya can get the benefit of your mods by bogging the motor. pilot may be big though.or small? i am still learning myself... lmao

i think its a 40 now. the reason im thinking its too big is because its acting like its getting too much fuel on the bottom end. idk all i can tell ya is its being a pain in the ass and im about to run it off a cliff lmao.

thats just it wild.... my older more used motor didnt bog at all with that gearing. it was a less powerful motor too. its got me going nut. hell i even put a smaller main jet in and it didnt help at all....its gotta be that dumb pilot jet ?

What does the spark plug say? Run it through all the gears just about as fast as it will go and cut the engine. Coast it to a stop and pull the plug. What does the plug say?

Are you using a stock CDI? Aren't the stock CDIs setup with a rev limiter?

i checked the plug after riding it about 10 min in 3rd gear. it is definitely rich. as for a rev limiter on it i have no idea. ive never had this problem with anything before. another thing crossed my mind as i was sleeping...could i have bad clutches in this pig ?

ok i took the carb off ans looked at the size of the pilot jet. it is a 40 so i ordered a 35 to put in it. that should help. but ill report back when i get it in.
