I just got a sweet ATC 250R and bought a new carb for it. It has a Rad Valve, bored 60 over with a wisco piston, ported, FMF fatty pipe and muffler. I bought a new keihin 39mm carb and was hoping that somebody had any info on where to start on the jetting. I will be running on 75-95 degree days at about 900 feet above sea level. Any help will be great! I will post pics of this SWEET machine soon! and my ATC 500R will also be done soon, I will also post pics of that when I get it put togather! Thanx again fellow trikers!!!:headbang:

Well I can tell you about my experience. I have an 86, stock reed cage, aftermarket reeds(not sure what brand), ported cylinder, .080 over, sectional pipe....I've got a 38MM PWK, started out with 175 and it was too lean, tried 185 still to lean, right now I've put a 205 in itbut haven't ran it yet...I live at an elevation of approx 450 feet and my temperature was about 80 when I was running it. My recommendation would be try a 200 for starters with the needleclip in the middle, and hopefully it'll be rich and work your way down! Not sure about your pilot jet.....I haven't even looked at mine, just know it starts and idles good so it's good enough for me!
