I finally got rear brakes today!! i no longer have to utilize the Flintstone style of braking (jammin my feet into the ground) haha. Nor do i have to crash into a tree to come to a stop or ride into the person in front of me. Normally the brake job would have been an easy one, HOWEVER i rode the bike through mudpits with the drain plug missing allowing the mud to get into the drum itself and mess everything up. But now i finally straightened everything out and replaced all the parts i needed to and for 60 bucks i have rear brakes that me and my buddy put in. PISSA! it'll be like a whole new bike with brakes, can't wait to test ride'em tomorrow.

lets see, got all the parts from the honda dealer so there goes all my money... definitely got screwed, but what can i do. 26 bucks for a rear brake cable. then about 30 bucks for rear brake pads! i was like but the vesrahs are only 20 bucks in DK, the guy's like well i got the moose ones and they're better but their 30 bucks, i didn't give a crap i just wanted brakes. then i had to buy some small miscellaneous items. the wing nuts for the back brakes are 9 bucks, i told the guy i'd duct tape the brakes together before i paid 9 bucks for a friggin wing nut. my head ain't that far up my a$$.
