I seen that too. Thought the guy lost his mind. I like my 70 but it's not worth buying a $3000 fuel tank for.

Wow, I want some of what this guy is smokin, cause you KNOW IT IS SOME GOOD CHIT! He's f-ing looney to ask that, I cant believe it has a $600 bid anyways! You can get the whole trike, maybe 2 for that price! Plus ANYONE can find someone to paint thier tank like that, who cares about the #'s.:doh:

I must have missed it, I can not find it on ebay

I get my tanks painted for $130 and they are flawless.

I get $80 to treat them, but you can get the tank treat kit and do it yourself for between $35 - 45 depending on what you use

Then there is the original cost of the tank

So I am thinking $250- 300 max

Now if for some reason ( like color choice) you absolutely have to go with Powder coat thats a different issue.

The tank must be free of any dents , as body filler ( even the slightest amount) will not powder coat.

Also you can not treat the tank ( inside) prior to powder coat, so it better be in damn nice shape too, or risk messing up the PC job by treating after the fact
