I just purchased my first trike unexpectedly last Sunday. It is a 1985 ATC 70. Anyway, I have done a little plug research that may help although I can't answer which offers better performance:
Mfg Recommended NGK plug and equivalents:
NGK - CR7HS
Denso - U22FSR-U
Bosch - UR3AS
Champion - Z9Y (also goes by 808)
Autolite - 2796, 4194
AC Delco - S102F
1-Step hotter NGK and equivalents:
NGK - CR6HS
Denso - U20FSR-U
Champion - Z9Y
Autolite - 4194
Splitfire - SF419D
The recommended plug is a resistor-type. Only the NGK, Denso, and Bosch part numbers listed are resistor-type but I don't see RFI being much of a problem with these things. Mine had a Champion Z9Y in it when I bought it, and that is the only one I could get at Checker Auto Parts too.

i've used NGK CR6HS and it really made no difference. if its power gains your after a new exhaust and some carb tweaks will make huge difference. if you shop around not to expensive.

I bought an 808 champion and it won't fit.
The hole is too big.
