new carby on the zinger.. came off a BW 200 4 stroke..and I used a 83R cable:headbang: more than 2x the size of the stocker:burnout:
real crisp clean revz..
:yup: It Rip's like no other!! mainly comeing off a 4 stroke it running lean... real lean!! tomorrow I will ritchin up all the curcuts maninly the air screw and see if the needle is adjustable..I think this carb has a non adjustable needle..right now it only opens 65% of what it can with the zinger throttle ..a main jet is a must..:hail:

Interesting little project there Bryan. Why did you make these reeds? Are they not available, or you modified the intake? I don't think I've ever seen one of these Zingers up close.

You'd better get that thing up and running good boy. :oldfogey: My son says he can't wait to bang bars with ya agian at the next PAtuckey ride! :D You know he still talks about that ride until this day. :lmao:

I think josh wants to have another one towards the end of june.

Was this the problem when it stopped running good last time we rode? If we're lucky enough to have the lakes freeze over this winter I'm gonna be bringin him along with his new ride. (finally got jessy to part with that lakota lol) I already have an extra set of wheels to stud for him!

wtf? I'm talkin about winter already and it aint even summer yet!

You really need to replace the intake and make bigger reed ports to take advantage of that carb. If you really want to play, You need to change cylinders out so you can have a proper reed block and not worry about breathing through the block. There are other options but your starting into alot of hand building territory, but your heading in the right direction. Do you have access to an early motorcycle junkyard with any mid 70s yamahas in it?

power,,,, pure ...POWER... runs great..went up on the pilot and a 110 main so far..it really needs a bigger main..when it warms up a bit I'll jet it more.. still need to pull the oil injector off..its all just hangin there.and do some more port work on the reed block.

I also have tri-z pegs on it .. A MUST!!!!!!
