i have an 86 125m, with a 185 head on it, so it is a little bit low on compression, but still runs great, and doesnt smoke. my question is, it will only run good when the airbox cover is off, when it is on, it wont run very good at full throttle, but here in sd i cant run my machines without the airbox cover on becuase of mud, and in the winter because of snow, even with outwears. the air filters get clogged up after about an hour and a half of riding. so, is there any way that i can get more air flow to my carb with having the airbox cover on?
