Got my frame back from the powder coater last month. It looked so good I just sat and looked at it for a month. Now time to start the rebuild. Actually, I'm tearing another one down and am going to transfer the parts as I get them back from the powder coater. I have collected the frame and swingarm stickers, so I can do an exact resto.

Worked on the resto today. Cleaned all of the old rubber and collected the new rubber I have been accumulating. Got all plastic and rubber installed except the lower chain roller. Bad shape. Does anyone know if these are still available?

I spent about two hours cleaning the air intake guides. I used the plastic renew on them. They were in really bad shape, but now they almost look new. I know that is a lot of time for parts that are barely seen, but I want this thing to look like it just rolled off the showroom floor.

Last pic is of the missing lower chain roller:mad2:

Going riding next weekend one last time with the 85R donor bike before I start stripping it to begin the process of restoring the parts for the re-install onto the new frame.

1992 Viper 1st and only year they were hand built. Bought it new in '92 stripped the interior and trunk and installed a custom sound system for use as a show car for Alpine:headbang: . It only has 4,000 miles.
