Last weekend i bought a 84 tec-3...dude said its an ol flat tracker.. its clean/tight and only missing rear brake pads..:D when i went to look at it, after taking the gascap off the smell told me its been sitting for a while:rolleyes:...but it had spark and good compression(190#)so i bought it.. getting it home we cleaned the tank/carb fresh gas and a new plug...kicked for a while..nothing dragged it round the neighborhood for a while...backfired couple times..wont run...now it doesnt have any spark:( ..so before i get to deep into this bike...i might just sell as is or part it out..this bike has a ton of aftermarket old school race stuff...i know NOTHING about kawis and after looking at this thing for better part of a week..i still know nothing...bike has 38mm mikuni flatslide carb(one ive never seen),aftermarket pipe(no name on it),answer silencer(sa-pro), came with 2 sets rear tires/wheels(8" turftamers and 10" stockers) the wheels are TRIKE racing product wheels(front also) and are polished aluminum, i think it has an aftermarket rear shock, unless stock it came with a remote res. with stainless braided line?..rear brake line is stainless too, it also has red plastic with some kind of TroyLee designs sticker kit on it...i guess im just posting this to see if there is any intrest..thanks :lala:

doyou want help selling it or fixing it? Worst case scenario you can get a new flywheel/stator combo for only $200 and be back on the road. If you didn't flush the tank and take the carb off to clean it thoroughly then that's probably alot of the problem.

Whatever you do DON'T part it out. Send me some pics and I'll post them for you. That's a great find you made & worth more complete than in pieces.
