hi all,
i am coming back to the fold after a good few years away, i used to have a tri-z 10yrs ago and remember how much of a laugh it was and how i thought it would be the end of me lol.
moved from off road to road but am now sick of getting tickets and dont wanna risk losing my licence.
i have my own sandblasting/etching and powdercoating shop and blasted a 250r frame a couple of months ago for someone and it sowed the seed once again. the only problem is that getting a trike here is a nightmare they got a lot of bad press back in the day for being unstable and unsafe so prices went to nothing most were bought cheap and run into the ground then scrapped. if you can find one here now they fetch silly money.

the above is a rough looking 86 250r that is up for £2500 thats nearly 5k in your money.
i have been looking at the forum and fancy a hybrid, the cr500 looks the one for me. i restore lambrettas as a passtime and to make a few bucks. so am sure i could do the work myself i got a lathe so spacers should be no problem.
so where to start? any suggestions
