View Full Version : what are the largest rear tires i can run?

I think I would like to put on larger rear tires for my trike to jack up my ground clearance a little. whats the biggest rear tires i can pop on with stock rims? can i go bigger than 22"? also, whats a good mud/snow tire that wears well? right now i'm running a set of Realtors that are 22-12-8 and they are pretty nice for muddin and wear pretty well but I think I'll get different tires next time around. any suggestions?

are 25's not stock on those like the 250es?

nope. the 250sx come stock with 22-11-8's all around

250sx? hmmm....welp Ive seen a guy put 25's on a 200x. I dont know if Id bother with anything over 22's on a 250SX though. Its good to maintain good acceleration on those SX's.

hey trike, i got a set of 25-12-9's that came with my 350x , wow those suckers are tall!!! really rob alot of power and turning!!! that brings a whole new new meaning to the word . i'll bet it will go 80 with them on too :D:D :D:D :D:D :D:D :D:D to hard to control for me!!! want them????

nah 25's would be too big i think. i just want some diesel tires for mud pits and what not, maybe raise the measley ground clearence some.
