My 83 250r has an aftermarket pipe (not sure which kind) and a 300 kit and right when i start it no matter how cold or how hot it leaks from the flange where the pipe slips over the exhaust flange, do they have o-rings that go bad or why would it be leaking?

My 85 was leaking there, so I took it off and sealed it at the exhaust flange with a high temp silicone caulk. Just make sure if you do it, you let it sit for a day to dry.

I saw once that one of the aftermarket pipe makers sells small bottles of it for that purpose, but a hardware/plumbing store would also have it. If you get a full normal size tube of it you're talking $12 - $14.
