I am gonna rebuild a 200s motor i got. I have a Gasket set. Wiseco 12;1, carb rebuild, anyway. Can i just put in the 12:1 just like a stock piston or does it have to be clearenced and then be sure the valves wont hit the piston??? How do i do it? Are they a pain or just bolt in...??

I have used 10:-1 in 200s motors. But not 12:-1. But i dont think it makes a difference. It should just fit tighter to the head. And as long as your timing is right i dont think it would be a problem. But maybe some one that has used one can comment on it. It nothing else. Put it in there and turn the engine over slowly several times and see if anything hits. But i think the valves are resesed enought that they are not going to hit.
