I have a 1983 klt 200 and the vac. fuel pump is allowing fuel to be sucked directly into the vac tube leading to the intake boot. When I removed the sparkplug to pump out the fuel, it gushed out by the tablespoonfull! I presume the diaphram in the fuel pump has failed. Any parts available??? Can an electric fuel pump be retro fitted?? I have gone through all 33 threads and cant find ANY titled fuel pump problems, I cant believe Im the only one having troubles. Somebody plz help. Dan
I have a working pump off a 85 LT230. I will get you a pic of the mounting If you want.

Thank you very much. I know how to weld ,so making a bracket for it shouldnt be a problem. Ive heard that kawasaki doesnt make parts available for pumps anymore. Do others have problems with availability???? plz send a pic Im very interested. Im a new member and I appreciate you answering the post from earlier. Dan

Do you know if they work? Have you or any other members used one before?
If you match cylinder displacement, the pump should keep up with the demand.
This is the pump. $10.00 + $4.80 shipping.
