Has anyone ever repaired the sight window on a front brake resivoir?

I have on 2 trikes. I completely reomoved the old site glass. Its just plastic. I cleaned the resevoir out well with solvent and then rubbing alcohol. I placed a piece of masking tape over the hole from the inside of the resevoir and worked it in to the contour of the hole. I bought a 5 minute 2 part epoxy from Home Depot and mixed up about an inch worth. I took a popcycle stick and loaded the mixed epoxy on to the popcycle stick and dripped it in to the site window hole from the outside and simply filled up the hole. The tape backs up the back of the hole. After I filled it up, I took a very small nail and moved the epoxy in the hole around just a bit to ensure there are no air bubbles in the epoxy. I topped off the hole and let it setup over night. No leaks whatsoever. The key is to get the hole where the epoxy is going as clean and oil free as possible. You wont be able to see through the epoxy but so what. I tried cutting very small round pieces of plexiglass but had no success. The OEM site windows are pressed in. Filling the site glass hole was the only other way of salvaging the master cylinder. Works great, last long time. Let us know what you do and how you make out.
