Im going back to 22's within a week if all goes well. Im running 20's right now, and the top speed is too 185s style for me.
My qustion is: who has run 22 inch tires on a 200x with a 14 tooth front sprocket (one tooth larger than stock).
Thats going to be my setup, I know ill see a pretty good jump in top speed but my acceleration will drop a small bit.
I may actually ride the 200x out of the yard with the 22's! w00h00

I tried that on my '86 years ago. I had the stock tires and a 14 tooth. It seemed like I lost a quite a bit of low end and I didn't keep it on there very long. Two things to consider though- I did a lot of low-speed woods riding and I didn't have any mods.

Yep i agree 14 might be a bit depressing. I jump back and forth between a 11 and a 12 depending on where i am going to be riding. And i can tell you one tooth on the front makes a big difference. So if you stuck with the 20" then a 14 might be ok. But if you go back to the 22" i would stick with a 13.

Thanks Fuzzybottombunny lol
I do ahve power to spare & i realize gearing is the biggest facotr in a machine's performance so I think ill see abotu leaving that 14 on (im getin the tires tomorrow) since I do alot of 6th gear full throttle BS....well---the 5 times ive actually ridden it in the year ive ownerd it! lol
is till have my stock 13...so thats aklways an option!
We will see tomorrow! thanks guys

N/p I switch from a pair of 25" to 22" and it made a huge difference. But that was jumping 3" So maybe on a 2" jump it wont be as noticable. Good luck with them. Let us know what you come up with.

I got them today! AWESOME DEAL! Guy gave me the tires...took off my old ones AND he mounted the new ones on my rims all for $35!!
Tires are brand new off a Yamaha Warrior (2001)...still have the marker on them!!
I like it ALOT better...the ground clearance...the top end...the look :headbang: :iluvu: :iluvu:
Mine goes absolutely perfect with that 14 up front. Before I was doing my regular speed at about 4 th gear aroudnt he yard./...not im in 2 and 3rd doign the same speed.
Took it down the rode....great! I cna still climb up walls in 1st ands 2nd gear with the 14 u[p fornt!!
I psoted some pics in the PICTURES section (whatta combo)...go check it out guys!!

I seen the pics. I like them and i think the trike looks better with them on there. It seems like ground clearence is allways a problem. So any you can gain the better out you will be.
