Wheel refinishing

Ok I want to do something with the wheels on my 250r. Someone started to remove the gold anodizing from the front rim. Looks like they used a wire brush. It looks pretty bad. And the rears are pretty scratched up. So does any one know a good way to strip them and polish them? Or is there a company that does it at a reasonable cost.

when you find out anything let me know too, $40 a wheel is the cheapest i have found so far ,thats to strip the anadize off and polish ,,, too close to a new wheel hmmmmmmmmmm ,,,

I wasn't sure you could get the gold off...
