Far as I knwo theres no other carb for you to use. Plus--you would lose your handlebar mounted choke elver if you even tried to use anything else. You -cant- use a 250R carb, or a 200x carb. Maybe a 350 carb but the pure fact that youve got the handlebar mounted choke, Id keep the 250sx one.

I mentioned this in your clutch post.

Trying to get significant performance increases out of a 250sx will end up costing more than a 350x (or other performance machine) and will probably only cause you trouble.

a 350x carb is a little bigger. it will fit the 250sx and you can change over the choke. i have a 350x carb for my 250sx but i have to rebuild the carb before i put it on.

from the looks of the two carbs i think it can just be swaped over. i have both carbs and they are just about the same carb except for a few differences. i have not taken eather one apart yet so what is inside i do not know. i did have the carb on the bike, it will fit into the intake manifold and to the air box.

why not just bore and taper the sx carb?
