I prefer red-kote over kreem it don't crack over time like kreem will, I have a spare tank with cracked kreem in it. I usually try to sandblast inside the tank to get most of the rust and scale out. Then a good rising of acetone inside and then pour 1/3 of the can inside and the turning process starts. Drain the excess red-kote back into the can for future use then I try to let the tank dry for at least a week to make sure it well dried inside. That is my 2 cents worth.

Has anyone used the KBS gas tank sealer? I used it and was very happy with it. I also used the Kreem product once years ago and was very disappointed with it. The KBS comes with everything you need and is available on ebay. Check out their website for more information http://www.kbs-coatings.com/Tank-Sealers_c_7-1-0.html
