q on 28 250r setup

ok 82 250r dg pipe and type 2 silencer everything else original i don't know (still) what my pipe does as far as topend, lowend, or midrange.But i need to change the reeds in it and don't know what kind is good or what type to buy any ideas.

boysenn reeds are probably the most widly used, i have not used them in my machines but friends that have them have nothing bad to say about them, on all of my machines i used active reeds, alot more highperformance, but they dont last as long, they are only supposed to stay in there peak range for about 2 years, and i havent kept a machine that long so i dont know for sure. also the actives are alittle more expensive, but for the power i think it was worth it.
