chevron paddles?

i've got a set of STU sand skates, there mounted with the molded "left" and "right" correct to the wheels, but..... the chevron is on the outside of the tire instead of the inside :wtf: has anybody run there skate types this way? it just looks wrong to me :confused:

mine are skates and the point of the cheveron is to the inside, where it should be. i would like to see pics too!

I run them on the outside.

i dont notice any traction diffrence.

On the beach at pismo the roost goes wider, With the normal direction it goes inside and crosses.

Rick, EXACTLY! that is the way i've always seen them mounted, that is why these appear so wrong to me. is this a matter of "thats the way its always been done" with very little significance?:shrug:

Well, those pics came from the website of the mfg. I'll go out and look at mine that are on the 350x.....Yep I've got them mounted the way the mfg says.

i think they mold those and then trim off the paddles they aint using for that design. they trimed the wrong ones.... anyway, that is the only thing i can think of. there is a set of those out in the garage. i may go look at the direction sign...

No biggie Jay Just run them on the opposite sides. The tires won't know the difference :shrug:

Or.......I've got another pair in the garage to be mounted up, I'll put them on the other 350X and you won't be the only one out there with the "V's" on the outside :thumbsup:

o.k. this is weird. i just went out and looked at Brets skates. they are exactly the same as those you show. but if you look at the other side of the tire, it says right! so these tire apparantly are made to run w/the points either on the inside OR outside. take a look. they are just mounted that way but could be mouted the other way.

OK, i'm going to dismount them, and put them back on with the "V"s inside! that'll teach me to read 1st :loser: :lmao: having not ridden them this way, i would think they would hamper the tendency to slide, which (its my understanding) was the whole reason for the design in the 1st place.

yeah i had them on my old 200x and i ran them with the V to the inside.
