On the '85 models there is a triangular black sticker down on the side of the rear fender (see the pic in the pics forum to see what I mean).

What did the '86 350x have here? the black sticker, nothing, or something else? My '86 has something similar to the "ATC350X" sticker that's on the black rear fender flap. Someone told me this wasn't factory so I was just curious.

Anyone got pics of an ALL ORIGINAL 350x or maybe an '86 brochure?

I think that sticker says something about chain slack. I'm just going by memory, so I could be wrong. I'd guess the '86 was supposed to have the identical thing there too.

you're thinking of something else. this is the kinda big sticker next to the kickstarter on the right side. there's an identical one on the left side as well.

Hrc is right on the 85 model`s they had a chain check sticker on one side and a tire check sticker on the other side. But the 86 was different. Part`s fish show the sticker but no part number so they must not be available. But here is a pic of a 86 and you can kind of make out some of it like the leters atc. http://www.bob2000.com/atc350xs.jpg

My sticker is still there, although faded it does have to do with the chain slack.

Its a Drive Chain Caution sticker
says: check the slack and lubrication before operation, and chain slack
35-45mm (1.4-1.8 in)

There is a atc patern and a diagram of the chain around the front n rear sprocket, showing to check tension on top.

I tried to take pic of it but didnt turn out right. Ill try again when i get better camera.

you attached a .txt file. you need to try and save it as a .jpg 75K or less in size then post it. let me know if you need help.

is that sticker on both sides or just that one?

that is the sticker for just that side. And I don't have the other, but i believe it is the same sticker without the chain stuff and trimmed for the area the kick starter tucks in. ive got a bigger pic that much clearer but too big to post, email me if u want it
