my dad has trail pro tires on his 225DX
and they have been on his 3 wheeler a LONG time
with about 90% tread left
should i get get a set of trail pro tires or what would ya reccommend for gravel or dirt road conditions and that would work in sand , mud, snow etc.
thanks

I have these tires on my 160. They're good on grassy areas, rocky trails and any kind of "hard pack". They absolutely SUCK bad in mud and any kind of snow. My advise is to avoid them.

i have them they suck everywhere. when i get stuck the reason is 99.99% the tires. they dont go in mud, sand, snow. they work good on hot top. and thats about it, they slip too much in everything else.

for the money you can get a much better set of rubber. the only thing i like about my trailpros is the fact that if they go flat there so stif you can run em.

I have a set of Nankang Bushwackers and they are the same tread pattern as the trail pros. I am incredibly impressed with the traction in both mud and snow. Here in the Adirondacks the mud is some of the heaviest and thickest I've seen anywhere. Real nasty stuff. I swear by the tires.

trail pros are only 2 ply tires. and if you want a cheap tire that goes good in mud and snow ive had good luck with staggared knobbys and dimpled knobbys. but for cheap dennis kirk has something called a mud buster or something like that its like a wooly bogger and there only 35 bucks or maby even cheaper.

i have a knobby type tire but its not on a rim
i have an old set of rusted rims
when it gets completely dark
ill put rims on without tires and watch the sparks fly
that will b awsome

thats actually really stupid, but if you wanna ruin a set of rims go for it.

actually the rims have holes it it from all the ruse so i have diff ones for it
i have done that with the rims and still didnt hurt it except for scratching it
but it is RUSED through

for a utility, i like the wooley booger design. I have bought 2 sets of "DURO" wooley booger clones from DK. I like them. I put them on the 175 so it would go in the snow better, and it does. I was gonna attatch a pic, of the 175 with them, but it says I cant? or its not available?

i have a set of trail pros, i mean there ok in the dirt, they dont hook up too much on my sx but theyre bad in the sand and they doo like someone said gloge up badd in the mud, right now i dont have any extra money so i have no choice but to run them but in the sand mud and snow i run some pro wedge II's but i think i already said that but i was wondering if any one had ever used a cheng shin, C-828 tire. i was gonna get a set of those but i dont know how good they are any input would be good. i was gonna post a pic but i cant too bad, heres a link, Cheng shin C-828 (http://www.denniskirk.com/powervendor/details/detail.asp?serverid=OffRoad&PartNo=540658)
