View Full Version : 1985 200x fresh bore motor smoking

I just got this 200x in pieces and put it back together. It has been bored .50 over a brand new weisco piston and ported and polished. Its only smoking when its idleing. I am wondering if its the rings or the carb because the smoke smells like its running rich. I also cant run it with the air box lid on because it will choke down and die.


I have a 30mm mikuni carb and was wondering if it will fit.

help me please!!!

it starts out white the after it warms up its black

Did you have a Shop do the work or ? ? ?

the guy i bought it from had a shop do it
