On the low beam (1 hd light) it is bright and nice, then on high (both of them) they are yellow and dim. This is my second 350x and my last one was the same way. I havent rode at night much so its never been a real issue but.........it should be fixed. Is this really that common? and what should I be looking for?

sounds like the stator doesn't have enough output.. how many watts arew the lights? and are they H.I.D'S GOT PICTURES?

could even be a bad ground but i would lean towards the stator since at low they look good and at high they are dim.

Clean your Ground connection ( might help ) Try OEM stock bulbs, If that doesn't fix the problem than go replace the stator.

Hey NWtriker
I was out of town for a few days, and just saw this.
Trike electrics are fussy. I am an electrial engineer, and if you want help with this let me know. I see you are local.

It was the ground connection at the bulb that fixed my headlight dimming problem. Easy fix, cleaned and made sure the connection was good and tight.
(ps ...ATC Nut will work for beer!!) :D

I had to re-solder the ground wire/clip to the bulb sockets on mine.

I have stock bulbs so Im guessing that isnt a prblem I will check the ground and if I can find my voltage testor I will check that . Ill try to post a couple pics.first time so here goes. And yes the 4 wheeled thing is has been replaced, a 200x rightfully took its place.
