Just bought my first 1984 200X that needs a little TLC. I'm having a little issue with the pilot jet and air screw. First of all I bought this bike while in Florida last week and have since brought it back to Pennsylvania where the elevation is about 2300 feet above sea level. It also has a full Cobra exhaust and soon to be Uni filter with no air lid.

Right now it's idling very rich. Even with the air screw almost fully seated it's still burning rich with the stock 40 pilot jet. Since I'm higher up in PA, would it be nessesary for the need to install a smaller pilot jet such as a 36 or 38? Even with the full exhaust and no air filter now, I think I need a smaller pilot. Can anybody tell me if this seems feasable or if theres a problem with that kind of jetting? Also it is running a stock 108 main jet. With those mods what kind of main jet would you all recommend for my elevation? The reason I ask is because I have no clutch cable yet so I can't ride it yet. It will be here shortly.

I live at higher than 4000 feet in elevation and my 200x runs fine with the stock set up.
