I'm wondering if I can put an 86R hub on my 85R. ?? Anyone know if they're interchangeable? Service Honda has two different part numbers ...the last 3 digits are different:
85 - 44610-HA2-000
86 - 44610-HA2-670
but they look dat-gum identical tho .... ....anyone???

Usually when only the last three digits of the honda part number change, the parts are interchangable. There will be some difference, but it will be minor.
All I know is the axle is bigger OD at the carrier than the 85. diff. bearing kit

WRONG ANSWER!! maybe the kit number is different but the bearings are the same.... 85 and 86 axles are identical!!! only the sprocket hub is different,,, what hub are you talking about sprocket or brake???? brake hubs interchange perfect,, sprocket hubs do not,,,

basically, I need a rotor for the front ...saw a complete 86 hub/rotor and was wondering if that will work with an otherwise 85 setup.
tnx for the replies guys :D

I had a feeling you were talking about the front hub. :lmao:
They swap. The '86 has these little goofy metal pieces on them that nobody is certain what they're for but they won't get in the way of anything.
