Big red clutch trouble

a guy my dad just bought car parts off of has a 85 big red and he said the clutch slipped and he rebuilt it with all honda parts put it back together and now it doesnt go into gear what did he do wrong besides not pay someone who knew what they were soing to fix it or what could cause this i dont kno if shifter doesnt move at all or if it moves and doesnt go into gear

it prob just needs to be adjusted theres an adjuster and lock nut next to where the oil filter is turn it counter clockwise until u feel resistance and trn back a 1/4 turn that should be close.
if that dont do it hll have to take the side cover back off and make sure everything
is put together properly.
