no spark on big red

I just bought a super nice 1983 200E big red i got it home started it and rode it several times, yesterday i started it and it just craped out and died would not restart so today i checked to see if it was getting spark to the plug which it isnt and checked to see if the coil is getting any power which it isnt so my question is where to check next,The igintion modual ? and is it located behind the battery? Any help would be greatful trying to get ready for rampage 09 Thanks

Check to see if you blew the fuse for the battery/ignition system.
