Guys...While chatting up the local Auto Zone parts counter guy today....he tells me he has an '85 200X and would like to sell it. Needs clutch, tank is not original (said it's plastic), plastic is toast and the rear caliper is missing.

What's the availabilty of these parts...good used, working condition??

He wants $150 for the trike...I think he may even take less.

I haven't seen it yet though. Could be a nitemare.

In my area and from what I see around, I'd say the 83-85 200x is one of the most plentiful bikes around. I don't think you will have a problem with parts.

I took a kwik trip thru E-Bay and found a tank and caliper right off the bat.

I might just have to snag this thing. Never owned an X before.

They are the funnest trikes, you can trail ride, dune ride whatever. Not a huge amount of power but they so light you can have alot of fun.

I agree with these guys. . . .they are a blast. . . .i got mine for $200 and dumped a little money in it (plastics, motor rebuild, and paint) and i love that little thing

OH!. . . and parts are pretty easy to come by. . . .new and used

The only parts Honda doesn't sell are the swingarm bolt, nut, sleeve, and a collar for the end of the bearing on the inside of the swingarm.
