Hey guys I recently got a 82 Big Red with another parts bike. So I decided to put my 86 200x project aside and build this up for the girlfriend to ride. I am doing this cheap because I just went back to school and money is a bit tight. I painted the frame, footpegs and skidplate in truck bed undercoating. I figured that would be a little better than regular spray paint. Here are picks of the old atc and of the new sand blasted and painted frame. Anyone used either Krylon Fusion or the other brand plastic paint. I hate painting plastics but these are hard to find cheap. I have two sets, both of which have been painted before. So I need to get the old paint off and re paint them. I tried the Rustoleum paint for platic and was amazed that I could bent it and it didnt crack. Anyway sorry for the long thread, thanks guys!http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg173/jimford75/DSCN0398.jpg

looking good man, and for getting the old paint off i use either aircraft remover or graffiti remover works great, spray it on let it sit for about a minute and if you happen to have a pressure washer that will blast it right off if not you can wife it off and re coat as necessary usually takes about 2 or 3 goes with the remover to get it all off if you just use a rag.

Just got the rear swingarm off. Took me an hour and a half. Sledge hammer!! Original bearings. I will post some new picks soon. Oh I hope everyone knows that that is a pic of the atc before I dismantled it! I have two so I am mixing whatever parts are better together. Oh and I think I might be getting a yamaha 200 atc for $50. Needs works but looks good.
