When I went to look at the tecate that I am going to be getting later this week, the front was really low..It had little if any front suspension travel, the guy said it was because the bike was set up for flat track racing. Is there a way to bring the suspension back to normal?? How is it held down? It comes with an extra front end so if I have to I can just switch them..

Thanks

It's probably had the forks reclamped lower down. Just loosen up the triple tree and slide them back up (down).

THeres a couple options: maybe the tripels are lwoered...or maybe it has smaller height springs.

The triple trees arent lowered, they are clamped where they would normally be, he said that he thinks the front end on it is from a newer tecate and the spare is the origional, he's not sure though.. The fork tubes on either are much bigger around then any i've seen on a 3 wheeler.. I'll get a pic the day I get it, so you can see what I mean about the travel...

And if the danper was change watch the cap if you remove it the springs are under pressure and the cap will fly off and can kill you.

I put a pic of the front end with the origional one next to it... The one on there has no travel....
