to be perfectly honest: No there is not. Cobra is the option that is a decent price....and theyre total crap whichever way you look at it.

You could try and make their headpipe work with another brand silencer. I had a cobra on my 350x and hated it. However, maybe they make other models that sound different? What are you trying to accomplish here?

Cobra might have one of there utility series for it. That wouldnt be quite as loud as there regular proformance pipes. But i dont know that you would really see a increase of power from it.

i made the exhaust on my 85 250sx. i got a new muffler from a 400ex off ebay for $15. then i got a u bend 1 1/2 inch pipe for the header. it took some work but i now have a new exhaust on my bike. the stock muffler had holes in it and i needed to do something. i did not want a cobra. as far as performance i can not tell you if i got more power or not.

In my Dennis Kirk catalog Jardine exhaust has a listing for a 85-87 Big Red. If I'm correct this shouldn't be too different from the SX. It might fit with little modification. As for performace increases - you might have to contact Jardine.
