how did you stretched the swing arm,i had a idea how to do it,but would take some machining

i cut the swing arm in half and lengthen it with tubing and cut the shaft and sleeved it. then i made a longer shock mount
Haha that is AWESOME! Dude we need to hook up, I wanna lift my Big Red and snorkle it too. That damn water hole at Coal Creek will NOT get the best of me again.

As soon as i get my front end figure out i'll take some pics. i sanded and painted the frame gloss black and i bought some used rear fenders off ebay. i got two 28'' mud zillas to go on the back with 2.5'' spacers. i haven't got my front tire or rims yet.

i bought some sx forks and didn't notice that they were bent til i got home. i should have checked them better. i mounted them anyway just to see how its going to look. i'll post some pics tonight. yall try not to bash it too bad, it's just for ponds and mud holes. 16'' of ground clearence under the motor.

Hi man, that looks awesome, I'm lifting my '85 Honda big red too! Sound like this may be a trend catching on! I ain't started construction, or is that demolition? yet! I plan to lift mine two inchs front and rear, and have been told that a honda lift kit may work for the rear with a little modding. Will add two inches and sleeve the front forks, use wheel spacers on the rear, and snorkel it! Mondex brute here uses that setup, looks sweet!

good luck with your build, post some pics. my BR has been on the back burner for a while but i have a small update. plastics are in the paint shop, bought a 355 sleeve for a real good price, got 3 highlifter xl2 wheels and mounted the mudzilla. soon as i take my scrape metal off i will have the 355 piston, gaskets, front tire, and a cam. i'll keep you updated when the goodies come in.
