oh yeah, my handle is "beefmalone" on yahoo and aim & "dsdale75@hotmail.com" on msn. I have DSL so I usually leave them all online even if I'm not.

Yahoo all the way, even though at times it can be gay it is still by far the best freeware out their. ICQ used to be ok untill a bunch of spammers found out about it then it went downhill, a**holes.

I prefer the yahoo messenger over msn as it is more trouble free. I also have a web cam, and I am a big fan of cams. With a 2 way cam conversation at least you know who you are dealing with!!:p

Gaim is a great IM client. With it you can have one IM client running and have contacts from yahoo, AIM, MSN, ICQ, Jabber, and a few others.

Indiviual messages appear in tabs like in firefox instead of having 3 or 4 separate IM windows open.
