Been over at 3ww for awhile now just finally got around to joining .org, sorry it took so long.

Most of you have probably already seen my build over there but Ill post it up here for those of you who havent.

Criticism is welcome as are questions
But I was/am on a limited budget and 99% of the build was done in my garage.
I am a college student so not alot of space, tools, or money.
All the welding was done on campus here in the welding and machine lab.
I used Jason Halls 450r as model to get ideas from and for advice

-"skid plate" used more as a lower frame brace

Swinger is is a little short so hill shots are tricky as are fast dune trail rides. Rides great in the dirt, but I built it as a duner, so alittle more work to do. Think alot of my issue might be my paddle choice, Sand Skate II. Seem to grip way to well in a straigh line and very hard to break loose. Them time out ill pull my skat trak edges off one of the 250r's

The 06-up swingarms are only about 3/4" longer. If your using it primarily for dunes I dont think that will be long enough to suit your needs. Although they are quite a bit different I run a +2 (compared to 04-05) swingarm on my 450R and with competition cut snad skate II's for the Dunes I thought it was perfect. Although a "seasoned" duner who rode it said he would add another 2" if it was his ;)

On another note. Your vid is from Little Sahara Waynoka Oklahoma, But I see your location is Manhattan? There is a Trike Rampage happening again next April at Little Sahara you should check it out. If your in Manhattan (NY?) then we are only a few hours apart as I am in upstate NY.

Manhattan Kansas, sorry would like to come but thats along haul.
Im thinking about a +4 (04-05) but not in my budget right now, waiting for winter time to come around or sell one of my stand up jet ski's.
probably going to end up with skat trak 9 paddle edges, love the way they feel on my atc250r but going to try them and my 8 paddles that are on my trx250r. Not sure how they will be on a four stroke instead of a 2, but Ill find out over thanksgiving at the dunes.
