While sitting at work today perusing on 3WO I thought to myself I know I have a box in the basement with some magazines that have 3 wheeler articles. Well you guessed it I found them. This article came from September of 1996 out ATV 4 Wheel Action. This was right after they changed their name from 3 & 4 Wheel action. If somebody has already posted this article at one time, my apologise.

I have a magazine article that shows a 83-85 200X upgrade made by Yoshimura. It included the yoshimura exhaust, a fully build topend including a bigger cam, port work im sure etc. bigger piston. Bigger carb etc.
I have never seen one except for the magazine article.
Sparks also made some knarly cams, exhaust combo packages too!

Most get the intake wrong when upgrading to a xr200 carb. So be careful!! The correct Honda # is 16210-446-000 for a '80-'84 plain xr200 (not R). Not a 16210-KKO-000 AND NOT A 16210-KTO-000, these are for XR-200R's.

I have a 16210-KT0-000 and 16100-KT0-034 carb off a 87 XR200R on mine. The intake matches carb(26mm). The intake matches up.
Why do you say they are wrong?

I have the same set-up as Bones but if someone wants (for a fee) a 16210-446-000 intake I have one.
Hey Bones do you remember what your jetting specs were on the X ? slow, main and needle clip position. I changed some things and she is running very rich now. I have 42, 118, middle groove and 1-1/4 turns out on the pilot screw. If I remember you were jetted quite a bit lower.
If I searched long enough I could probably find your post but figure its easier to just ask.
